Most of us will need social care as we get older. Older and disabled people deserve to be able to live safely and happily just like anyone else, but too often they don’t get the social care they have a right to.  We want social care to be available to everyone, regardless of how much they can afford to pay.

With your help we can make a difference.

How your donation helps

When Ahmed came to us, he and his family were desperate for help. Ahmed has a learning disability which makes it hard for him to live independently without support. Having been street homeless, Ahmed was now living in squalor in rented accommodation with no support. He was being used by a gang who were drug dealing from his flat. The local authority refused to help. We intervened and Ahmed is now living in supported living, getting help to manage finances and most importantly is safe.

Please help us reach more people like Ahmed. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, can help us to

A monthly donation helps us to plan ahead.

Contributing £10 per month works out as £2.30 each week

  • £10 per month could help us to provide in depth advice to the family of a person with a learning disability like Ahmed.

  • £20 per month could help us provide casework support to the family of an older person entering the care system, to make sure they are not denied the care they have a right to.

  • £50 a month could help us to train and supervise a small team of pro-bono lawyers so that we can help more people.
